Elementary

Welcome to Sauk Centre Elementary School. My name is Karen Maschler. I have the great fortune of being the Elementary Principal in Sauk Centre. The 2012-2013 school year will be my eighth year as Elementary Principal. My husband and I are proud to have made Sauk Centre the home for our family, which includes three girls, a dog, a cat and several fish. Before my years as a principal, I taught students in kindergarten , grade one, four and five for ten years. I also worked as a reading coordinator and a teacher on special assignment in the areas of curriculum and staff development. In my spare time, which seems to be somewhat limited these days, I love to read, quilt, scrapbook, and make cards.
